My dearest Lalaith, I have a question to ask you.

*gets down on one knee*

Will you marry me?

Lalaith and I have arrived in Rivendell, and it appears there is a wedding ceremony about to begin! Is this the heavily anticipated Glorfindel/Celeborn marriage?

Lalaith and I are now on the road, making our way south to the cavern system in the center of Lord Thingol's kingdom. We are making a point to take our time, and enjoy the countryside. We should reach the new Girdle by tomorrow afternoon.

I have not seen the stars shine so clear since the night I spent on Amon Rudh. They truly are beautiful beyond description. Lalaith is also amazingly beautiful tonight. I wonder if she realizes how wonderful of a person she is?

The fire needs tending.

Well. I have returned to my original body.

Lalaith and I are leaving the barrow downs, and moving along the old path. We have no destination yet.

I am still trying to deal with the ramifications of this body... I have had an extreme urge to say some very, very funny things. I am restraining this as best as I can, but it is becoming quite difficult. Lalaith and her whole family have also fallen under the effects of this virus. I hope a cure is discovered soon.

I am not sure what to make of these most recent turn of events.

I hope more of you prove immune. I am not, apparently.

The Barrow-Downs are an empty place. Lalaith and I have explored every inch, but she seems determined that there is something here for her. I hope she is right.

Lalaith and I have reached the Barrow-Downs. It is eerily quiet, and there is a bad feeling in the air. It is to be suspected, I guess, but still. *shivers*

Hmm. It is good to have such wonderful company, though. Lalaith has been talking with me during our travels, moreso than she would ever talk to anyone from what I have seen. She is truly a very compassionate and intelligent woman.

Anyways, more later, we are traversing the lower grounds of the downs.

Lalaith and I are now traveling west from Moria towards the Barrow-Downs in the Eastern Shire. Lord Thingol, I apologize that I will be late in arriving in Rivendell, but I cannot leave Lalaith when my skills are much better served protecting her. We shall most likely be at the Barrow downs in a day or so, and will update when we reach there.

Beleg wanders into Moria, his wicker lamp held high. He hears distant singing, and wanders in the direction of it. He comes upon Lalaith, beautiful, yet incredibly sad, holding up a piece of jet black obsidian.

Lalaith? Hello. It is I.

I was crossing the expanse near the Long Lake when I noticed that Laketown was on fire. Between various screams about a dragon, I was able to help some of the wounded and put out the fires. My aplogies, King Thingol, for my delay. I will take the Forest path from here through Mirkwood and then down through Moria.

I have returned from Mandos. The dwarves were spilling out into some of the other wards, so I deemed it a perfect time to return.

I am Beleg, the greatest archer in the history of the Children of Iluvatar. I served under King Thingol as Marchwarden pf Doriath, and was a very good friend of Turin Turambar, before he accidentally killed me. I do not hold him responsible for that fateful day, however, as he was under Morgoth's curse.

It seems some people are looking for my bow. I still have it.
